Brand name and voice development for AKRS Equipment, a merger of three John Deere dealerships from across the Midwest and proud sponsor of the AKRS Championship Club outside of Memorial Stadium.

We met with shareholders, leading them through our brand identity process. Through discovery workshops, we positioned the brand to be the next frontier in agriculture. The result is AKRS.

AKRS, pronounced “acres”, is derived from the Gothic origin of the Greek word “agros” meaning “field.” The name was selected due to shortness in length, ease of recollection and uniqueness to the industry.

Alongside the shareholders, we charted the brand’s new path forward. Building off discovery findings, the new AKRS brand is pushing the current agricultural space in Nebraska with an unmatched commitment, a wider selection of solutions and equipment, plus unparalleled customer service. We wrapped it all into the confident and concise tagline of “A New Day in Farming”.
